Gunnison Fish & Raft is one of the few outfitters that helps you make your stay complete. We can recommend a number of accomodations depending on your needs and wishes. Please feel free to call for options. Below are a few we suggest:

Almont Resort
Almont Resort is located at 8,026 feet in the heart of the Rocky Mountains of Colorado between Gunnison & Crested Butte. The East & Taylor Rivers meet outside our cabin doors to form the headwaters of the mighty Gunnison River. Most of our 15 cabins and 4 vacation homes are riverfront or very close to the water. We accommodate couples, families, corporate retreats and other larger groups.

Gunnison River Lodge
This fully furnished vacation home features 2 large stone fireplaces located on the upper and lower levels; upper and lower level decks overlooking the river; open floor plan living/dining area with beamed cathedral ceilings for your comfort and entertaining; fully equipped/modern kitchen; large den with game, pool table, organ, and piano; 4 furnished bedrooms accommodating 10 people comfortably; 3 bathrooms; laundry room with washer/dryer; cable television, high definition large screen television; and high-speed internet. The home can accommodate two additional guests (for a total of 12) with our rollaway beds. There is plenty of room for two vehicles and all your gear in the oversized two car garage.

Island Acres Resort
Our property is nestled between two forks of the Gunnison River in a quiet neighborhood. You will be in one of our seven log clad buildings located on a heavily treed 3.2 acres. With only 22 guest rooms, you will have plenty of space for grilling and picnicking, outdoor activities or reading a book in the shade of one of our 100 year old trees. Many of our rooms feature full kitchens, dining areas–both indoors and out–great for extending that vacation budget or for people with food allergies. We are within easy walking distance to public access to the river. In the evenings, sit out on the porch or enjoy roasting marshmallows in one of our fire rings or star gaze while enjoying the fresh mountain air.

Lost Canyon Resort
Beautiful location on Gunnison River, 8 miles North of Gunnison on Highway 135. 10 acres of river front property, 17 modern fully-equipped log cabins, sleep 2-8 people. Central Gunnison Country location for fishermen, hunters, skiers. Wonderful fall colors. Pets okay. Playground. NO phones, NO TVs, NO store, NO RV park.

Rockey River Resort
Located 6 miles North of Gunnison, 1/4 miles off Highway 135. Enjoy easy access to excellent fly/lake fishing, hiking, rafting, hunting, boating and skiing. Blue Mesa and Taylor Reservoir. 1 and 2 bedroom fully furnished log cabins open all year. RV spaces with full hookups, large grassy sites, restrooms and showers open May-October. Daily, weekly & monthly rates. Pets Ok (with a fee).

Wildwood Motel
The Wildwood Motel is the ideal spot for those who want the convenience of town but love the peace and quiet of a Rocky Mountain day. Enjoy the afternoon under our large shade trees and on our park-like lawns.
